Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Maintenance Technician Position Description:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely maintaining the physical condition of the community. Main duties include preparing vacant apartments for occupancy, completing service repairs requested by residents, maintaining community grounds, common areas and parking lots. Starts immediately.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
-Electrical systems (minor)
-Painting
-Plumbing
-Appliances
-Flooring/Carpentry (minor)
-Landscape maintenance
-Apartment turns
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
Previous maintenance experience a must! Experience with apartment/unit turns a must! Must have painting, light electrical, plumbing, general maintenance experience. Must have verifiable experience in all the duties outlined.
Maintenance Technicians are also expected to be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and small power tools and comply with all OSHA and company safety policies at all times
-Exceptional organization and time management skills required
-Work well under pressure
-Computer literacy, if applicable
-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
