Tax Credit Leasing Agent

Tax Credit Leasing Agent Position Description:
The Tax Credit Leasing Admin, under the supervision of the Property Manager, is responsible for providing information on available units, leasing and pre-leasing apartments under the affordable housing guidelines, providing calculations based on affordable housing guidelines, and conducting unit tours.
Responsibilities of Tax Credit Leasing Agent:
-Greet potential residents and answer main phone line
-Prepare and process new applications and re-certifications
-Adhere to company policies and procedures
-Conduct tours of property with potential residents
-Schedule work orders, light data entry
-Staging models in preparation to show and move-in inspections
Qualifications for Tax Credit Leasing Agent:
At least one to two years experience working as a Tax Credit Leasing Agent is required.
-Low Income Housing /Tax Credit (Section 8, HUD, Section 42 and or CAHI)
-Experience with AMSI, YARDI and/or Rent Roll a PLUS
-Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
-Exceptional organization and time management skills required
-Work well under pressure
-Computer literacy, if applicable
-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
-Criminal background check required
